Why verify a domain?
To send email from your own domain (e.g. you@yourcompany.com) instead of Gmail, you need to add and verify the domain in EmaReach. Verification is done by adding DNS records at your domain provider. Once verified, you can add SMTP inbox accounts for that domain and use them in campaigns. Go to Domains in the sidebar to get started.
Step 1: Add your domain
- In EmaReach, click Domains in the left sidebar.
- Click Add Domain (or the button to add a new domain).
- Enter your domain name (e.g. yourcompany.com). Do not include http:// or www—just the domain.
- Save or continue. EmaReach will create the domain and show you the DNS records you need to add.
Step 2: Add DNS records
EmaReach will show you the exact records to add. Typically you need:
- SPF — A TXT record that authorizes EmaReach (or your email provider) to send mail for your domain.
- DKIM — One or more TXT records that prove your emails are legitimately from your domain.
- MX (if you use EmaReach for receiving) — So replies can be delivered to your inbox.
- In the Domains page, select your domain to see DNS records or Verification.
- Copy each record: Type, Name/Host, Value, and TTL if shown.
- Log in to your domain registrar or DNS provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap, your hosting panel).
- Add each record in the DNS management area. The Name might be shown as @ or your domain; use exactly what EmaReach shows.
- Save changes at your DNS provider. Propagation can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours.
Step 3: Verify the domain
- Back in EmaReach, open Domains and select your domain.
- Click Verify or Verify domain. EmaReach will check that the DNS records are present and correct.
- If verification succeeds, the domain status will show as verified (e.g. a green check or "Verified").
- If it fails, double-check that you added every required record and that the values match exactly (no extra spaces). Wait a bit for DNS propagation and try again.
Step 4: Use the domain for sending
Once verified, you can:
- Add Inbox Accounts (SMTP) for addresses on this domain (e.g. sales@yourcompany.com).
- In Campaigns, choose SMTP as the sender type and select those inboxes.

- Verification fails — Ensure each record type, name, and value matches exactly. Check for typos and wait for DNS propagation.
- Record already exists — If you have an existing SPF record, you may need to merge values (include EmaReach's include:... in your existing SPF string). The dashboard or support can guide you.
- Domain not showing — Refresh the Domains page; if you just added the domain, it should appear in the list.
