What are the Template Guide and Examples?

EmaReach provides a Template Guide and Template Examples under Templates to help you write better emails and use the right merge variables and placeholders. The Guide explains how templates work; the Examples show sample templates you can copy or adapt.

Where to find them

1. Click Templates in the sidebar.
2. You will see sub-items such as Template Management, Template Guide, Template Examples, and Template Prompts.
3. Open Template Guide for documentation and Template Examples for sample emails.

Using the Template Guide

• Merge variables — Lists the variables you can use (e.g. {{first_name}}, {{company}}) and where they come from (your contact list fields).
• Unsubscribe — How to add the unsubscribe link placeholder so your emails stay compliant (e.g. {{insert-unsubscribe-link-here}} or the exact string for your plan).
• Spintax — If supported, how to use {Option A|Option B} for random variation per email.
• Compliance — Reminders about spam words, link limits, and image limits from Settings → Compliance.
• Best practices — Tips for subject lines, body length, and avoiding spam filters.

Use the Guide when creating or editing a template so you use the correct syntax and stay within compliance.

Using Template Examples

• Template Examples shows pre-written example templates (e.g. cold outreach, follow-up, newsletter).
• You can copy an example into a new template and then edit the subject, body, and variables to match your campaign.
• Examples often include merge variables and an unsubscribe line; adjust them to your contact list and compliance settings.

Template Prompts

Template Prompts (if available) may offer prompt ideas or suggestions for AI-generated templates when you use AI Campaign Studio. Check that page for prompts you can use to generate templates.
