How to Create Your First Campaign in EmaReach

What is a campaign?

A campaign in EmaReach is an outreach sequence: you choose a contact list, one or more email templates (with optional delays between steps), and sending inboxes (Gmail or SMTP). EmaReach sends the emails according to your schedule and daily limits. Create campaigns from Campaigns in the sidebar.

Before you start

• At least one contact list with contacts (Contacts → Import or create list).
• At least one email template (Templates → create with subject, body, merge variables, unsubscribe).
• At least one inbox ready to send (Gmail or SMTP in Inbox Accounts, status Ready or within warmup limits).

Step 1: Start a new campaign

1. Go to Campaigns (sidebar).
2. Click New campaign or Create campaign.

Step 2: Campaign info and audience

1. Enter a campaign name (e.g. "Q1 cold outreach").
2. Select the contact list (audience) for this campaign. Only contacts in this list will receive the emails.
3. Set timezone for send times (e.g. America/New_York).

Step 3: Sender (inboxes)

1. Choose Gmail or SMTP as the sender type.
2. Select one or more inboxes from the list. These must be in Ready (or allowed) status.
3. Optionally set sender rotation (e.g. round-robin or random) if you have multiple inboxes.

Step 4: Email sequence

1. Add one or more steps (emails). For each step, select a template and set a delay (e.g. 0 days for the first, 2 days for the second).
2. The first email is sent when the campaign runs; follow-ups are sent after the delay. Ensure all steps have a template selected.

Step 5: Schedule and limits

1. Set daily limit (e.g. 50 emails per day across the campaign).
2. Set send time window (e.g. 9:00–17:00) so emails go out only in that range.
3. Optionally set reply-to (default from Settings or a specific Gmail/IMAP).

Step 6: Launch

1. Review the summary and click Launch or Start campaign. The campaign will start sending according to your schedule and limits.
2. You can monitor progress under Campaigns (e.g. sent count, replies) and in Inbox for replies.
